Goldberg Segalla, a dynamic and collaborative law firm with a national presence, seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to join its team as a Conflicts Analyst in its Buffalo office. The Conflicts Analyst position is responsible for conducting accurate and timely conflict checks for all incoming matters to the firm in accordance with firm protocols. The position requires a strong analytical ability to analyze conflict searches, generate conflict reports from Aderant and to respond to conflicts related inquiries. This position requires daily professional interaction with attorneys and legal assistants throughout the firm.

The hourly salary range for this position is $21.00 to $26.00. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: :
- Conduct conflict of interest searches in accordance with firm policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate and appropriate party information is entered in Aderant
- Appreciate and understand the impact of the Conflicts Department and Aderant usage on other departments and the firm overall
- Receive cross training and assist other departments on an as needed basis
- Assist in the maintenance of accurate and current information in Aderant
- Assist with special projects and assignments as needed
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS::
- Law firm experience is a plus
- Minimum 3-5 years working in an office environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Thorough working knowledge of word processing programs and database functionality (Microsoft Office Environment)
- Ability to work as a team player and collaborate with others within and outside of the Conflicts & File Opening department
- Organized individual with great attention to detail required and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently in a fast pace environment
- Creative thinker and ability to think outside of the box
- Strong communication skills and ability to comfortably interact with attorneys and staff
