Goldberg Segalla, a dynamic and rapidly growing law firm with a national practice, seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to join its team as a Legal Administrative Coordinator to join its Albany or Buffalo office. This role provides administrative and secretarial support to the team and provides back up support to departments that the Client Rates & File Transition Manager oversees as requested. This position requires the ability to multitask effectively and balance working on multiple requests and projects on a daily basis. Strong analytical and organizational skills are required.
This role is eligible to be on a hybrid work schedule after on-site training is completed.

This role offers a hourly salary and bonus opportunity. The hourly salary range for this position is $23.00 to $26.00. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: :
- Assist with the collection, entry and maintenance of data in firm systems and databases
- Understand and appropriately follow firm processes and utilize firm systems
- Ability to handle pressure, interruptions and multiple projects with frequently changing priorities and deadlines
- Exercises confidentiality and discretion
- Must have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Perform administrative duties, including proofreading and editing all materials for extreme accuracy and clarity
- Knowledge of legal documents and terminology, as needed
- Knowledge of expense reporting, billing, and dictation, as needed
- Assist with calendaring, as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE: :
- Associate’s degree with several years of legal secretarial experience
- Candidates with Associate's degree and several years of strong administrative experience will also be considered
- Regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in English
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Regularly required to observe and assess data and documents, in printed form and on computer screens
- Works well in a team environment
- Ability to work independently within general guidelines and minimal supervision
- Ability to recognize the need for confidentiality of information and to maintain such confidences
- Ability to respond to internal or external inquiries, including those of a sensitive, confidential, or adversarial nature
- May be requested to work beyond normal work hours for special projects
