Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine laboratory tests on blood, urine, and tissue samples.
- Prepare and handle specimens according to established protocols.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Record and report test results accurately.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure test reliability.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
- Certification by a recognized accrediting agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT)
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, equipment, and protocols
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Flexibility with 8-hour or 12-hour day/mid shift schedules
- Competitive pay rate with an hourly pay range from $17.5-$45
