Job Details
- Specialty: Family Practice, Adult Care, or Acute Care
- Duration: 13 -26 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, days
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and review medical histories to assess patient health.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including prescribing medications and therapies.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care with patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures to guide patient care decisions.
- Provide education to patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and referrals.
- Adhere to regulatory and safety standards and stay current with best practices in family practice medicine.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with current and active NP license
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is a plus!
- Extensive knowledge of family practice procedures, diagnostics, and patient management.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
