Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including but not limited to endodontics and pediatric dentistry.
- Perform various dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns, and bridges.
- Utilize dental software systems like Epic and Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping.
- Fabricate dental appliances as needed, ensuring quality and precision in all work.
- Maintain an aseptic technique during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience in general dentistry; proficiency in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic and Eaglesoft is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental fabrication techniques and materials.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
