Job Summary:
GoldDental is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient front office experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
Experience: Prior experience in a dental or medical office is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus. Basic computer and phone system skills required.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming patient experience.
Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, handle scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative duties efficiently.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team while maintaining professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage cancellations and rescheduling.
- Verify insurance benefits, process payments, and handle billing inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist patients with scheduling needs.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
