Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients’ oral health.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to prosthodontics, oral surgery, dental extractions, and general dentistry.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring clear communication regarding options and procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize Eaglesoft software for managing patient information, scheduling, and billing processes.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques through continuous education.
Skills
- Proficient in prosthodontics and general dentistry practices.
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software.
- Experience in oral surgery and dental extractions is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical record management.
- Ability to interpret medical imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
