GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
As a Digital Analyst on the Digital Web Analytics & Tagging team, this individual will be a product owner for Golden 1’s digital data strategy and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), as well as support digital analytics tagging from beginning to end from identifying KPIs, validating tags to developing reports and dashboards within Adobe Analytics. The Digital Analyst will sit at the intersection of our partners in the Digital Organization (digital product managers who are shaping the future of our platforms and interfaces for our four customer segments – consumer, small business, corporate and employee), our Technology partners (specifically our Digital Analytics Engineering team responsible for implementing tags), and our Reporting & Analytics teams (responsible for assessing performance of our platforms and interfaces across our segments).
TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:
Evaluates the current implementation through the lens of the existing and projected business use cases, identifies gaps and provides recommendations on how to close them.
Managing a robust product vision and roadmap, understanding user personas, stakeholder needs and satisfaction for Digital Data/Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
Creating and managing a roadmap for CJA, opportunity/issue logs, vendor management, competitor/new entrant monitoring, and any associated RFPs
Stakeholder partnership, including: organized and ongoing bi-directional idea generation and solutioning, including a keen eye towards product innovation, particular in the area of AI/GenAI.
Actively participates in usability studies and consumer persona research; uses data to provide visuals and narratives that tell stories about member journeys.
Develops and maintains reporting tools, such as custom reports and dashboards for a variety of internal audiences including peers and upper management.
Implements a framework and guiding principles for collecting, analyzing, and reporting insights and Google/Adobe Analytics usage, develops a reporting cadence.
Keeps current with emerging technologies and best practices.
Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position.
Creates proper reporting and presents findings and recommendations to various audiences.
Continually keeps up to date with the latest changes in industry’s standards and the relevant platform evolution.
Documents digital analytics projects for training, auditing, and replication purposes.
Will attend 1-2 conference trainings a year (Adobe Summit primarily) to keep up with current best practices.
Maintains clear communication with the organization to ensure data needs are understood and met.
Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS:
Effective oral and written communication skills required to varying levels of analytical daily tasks.
Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate standard office equipment such as a personal computer, VOIP telephone, printers, scanners, etc.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS:
INTERNAL: All levels of staff.
EXTERNAL: Vendors, management, other financial institutions, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field.
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of demonstrated mastery of Adobe Analytics insight extraction practices. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask across multiple projects. Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interface with clients and technical resources
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Strong knowledge of Adobe Analytics, MS Office 365, other data visualization tools (PowerBI, specifically).
Demonstrated experience of deploying complex instrumentation projects.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
Corrected vision within the normal range.
Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: A Digital Analytics Association certification is preferred. Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics certifications are required.
