JOB DESCRIPTION: Golden 1 Credit Union offers a personalized experience for interns. Our goal is to give interns a glimpse of what it is like working for a fast-growing, diverse, and exceptional financial institution. Our 8-week internship program will consist of department specific job duties/projects, as well as professional development workshops, networking sessions with G1 leaders, and a team project that will be presented to senior executives. As part of the Deposit Account Servicing Department, the Intern will learn/participate in these key areas: Levies, garnishments, district attorney and immigration letters for processing With subpoenas they would be helping to locate check copies, statements, and other documents to complete a subpoena. For levies they will be helping to process and place levies on accounts Post required fees to member accounts, and balance credits/debits at the end of each day. Maintain strict confidentiality on member account transactions and credit union information. Notify management immediately regarding any member’s concerns or errors. Actively support company goals and initiatives. Assumes other responsibilities as apparent or assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student as defined by the school, organization, or institution. GPA of at least a 3.2. Junior & Senior standing in the Fall. PROGRAM OVERVIEW AND DETAILS: Intern Program: Intern must be available for the duration of the 8-week program. Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm. Golden 1 Credit Union does not provide any form of housing reimbursement or relocation package for interns.   LOCATION: Although the positions are generally Hybrid schedule you will be expected to attend some in-person activities at the Golden 1 Headquarters located in Sacramento CA.  HOW TO APPLY: Submit completed online application.
