GENERAL DESCRIPTION :

The Senior Training Coordinator is responsible for administering the Learning Management System (LMS) including end to end support for course setup, maintenance, and on-going reporting. This position also provides program management assistance for educational programming that supports Golden 1's commitment to employee development.

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS :

  • Manage and administer the Learning Management System (LMS). Continually assess LMS related capabilities to identify enhancements and opportunities and make recommendations to management as appropriate.
  • Displays familiarity with curriculum in order to guide learners and stakeholders to applicable learning and effectively locate additional resources to enhance experience.
  • In leader's absence, reviews ad-hoc project requests, conducts initial discovery, and triages for development.
  • Provide training for business continuity, including developing and maintaining user procedures, guidelines, and documentation on the LMS and all reporting responsibilities.
  • Troubleshoot LMS-related system issues and partner with LMS vendor when problems or questions arise to support users and resolve escalated cases.
  • Create and maintain reports from a variety of data sources and applications to provide LED and other departments with data related to training activities and educational programs. Partner with internal analysts to implement consumable and automated dashboards.
  • Provide end to end course setup and management for on-demand courses including publishing, enrollment, exam results, and reporting.
  • Assist with live class support including setup and scheduling in the LMS, emails, participant guide distribution, and fielding and triaging logistical questions from attendees.
  • Fields calls, emails, and correspondence related to the LMS and training related reports and resolves routine issues / concerns in a timely manner.
  • Manage the training email alias and the training assistance request queue and resolve, triage, or escalate as needed.
  • Partner with Compliance to support the Compliance Training Plan and generate audit reports to monitor regulatory compliance trainings.
  • Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
  • Continue to enhance existing advanced analytics products to the next level in line with business and people strategy priorities.
  • Ongoing analysis of learning and development programs through test scores, evaluations, surveys, feedback from stakeholders, facilitators, and designers. Make recommendations for course modifications based on analysis.
  • Co-manage and administer Golden 1's LinkedIn Learning and Learning Hub account, including analysis of learner activity and engagement, updating active licenses, and registration assistance for new employees.
  • Act as the administrator for LED's survey tool including license allocation, permissions, and reporting.
  • Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
  • Assist with fiduciary activities including budget planning, training program expense processing, and report creation and maintenance.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position.
  • Act as a champion of change demonstrated by openness to new ways of working and the implementation of new tools and processes.
  • Occasionally conducts editorial reviews of courses and participates in course audits as assigned.

PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS :

  • Effective oral and written communication skills required to fulfill job duties.
  • Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, and telephone.
  • Strong team skills and the ability to work constructively and collaboratively with all levels of management, peers, and other departments. Ability to maintain a solution-oriented overall team approach within and outside Learning & Development, and to focus on overall Credit Union goals.
  • ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS &RELATIONSHIPS :

  • INTERNAL : All levels of staff at the credit union.
  • EXTERNAL : Training and education associations, community organizations and vendors.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • EDUCATION : A college-degree in related field is preferred.
  • EXPERIENCE : Five years or more experience in administering a Learning Management System, data analytics or some combination of both. Experience with Docebo is a must.
  • KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS :
  • Possess broad knowledge of LMS and related administration duties.

  • Ability to assess and troubleshoot discrepancies in data and identify and implement solutions.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team in a diverse work group.
  • Ability to learn new software as needed and act as a tester for potential learning and development tools.
  • Must demonstrate project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to anticipate issues, present solutions, and handle confidentiality of data.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and to work productively and professionally within the Leadership & Enterprise Development Team and across credit union departments.
  • Understand training needs and requirements in relation to meeting company legal and compliance objectives.
  • Ability to provide feedback to others with tact and diplomacy.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
  • Corrected vision within the normal range.
  • Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs. as may be required.
  • Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
