Guest Service Host II

SALARY GRADE: REPORTS TO: Guest Service Supervisor
SUMMARY:
Responsible for furnishing Guest Service Host in the Club/Cage and Slot Department Employees with money in exchange for chips and gaming tokens.

Is responsible for Guest Service Host Job Description in addition to the following:
- Assists various departments in counting gratuities.
- Verifies all money drops and deposits money into appropriate accounts.
- Reconciles accounts.
- Pays out large jackpots.
- Maintains various records of Main Bank activities.
- Counts and balances gaming tokens and foreign chips.
- Pulls and counts mutilated money, preparing it to be returned to the bank.
- Facilitates the flow of information, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
- Prepares cash deposit for pick up
- Fill out all necessary paperwork for checks made out from the bank for guest, and distributes paperwork as called for.
- Rolls coin with the coin roller and stores them adequately.
- Receives incoming cash from Soft Count.
- Receives incoming cash from our bank.
- Assist Guest Service Supervisor in their absence or as needed,
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required. Some college courses in Banking and Finance or related area preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Effective communication skills required. Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability torespond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations.
