Job Summary
Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures, is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support of loan customers.
Requires a good working knowledge of PC applications, including but not limited to, all office products, as well as some understanding of data management and presentation of such data.
Needs to have basic knowledge of financial analysis theory and techniques, business protocol, loan documentation, and business communication techniques.
Duties
- Perform Appraisal and EPA log, quote, and engage for the whole bank.
- Assist Credit Administration with validation for market values from the appraisal
- Prepare in-house real estate market evaluations inclusive of residential and commercial. Includes hotel, multifamily, retail, office, warehouse, mix/flex use.
- Assist collecting Hotel Factbook & Risk Management data. The ability to understand and perform research on market studies with vendors such as Co-Star and other research venues.
- Respond to VOD requests.
- Review Environmental Reports and address any potential issues from the reported related real estate such as contamination. Validate the compliance standards from the reports
- Pull credit reports of bank customers.
- Assist as a backup to other credit processors, as needed within the department.
- Assist in special projects, as requests are made. The ability to prepare for regulatory agencies such as review of appraisal documents.
- Other duties as assigned such as assisting with Strategic Meeting Report for Credit Department
- Work Closely with Credit Administration, Lending Officers, Portfolio Manager, Loan Servicing Department
- Work Closely with vendors (Appraisal Companies and Environmental Protection Agencies)
- The ability to work with invoices (accounts payable) and the monitoring of paid invoices
Organization
Make recommendations to supervisor about possible methods to improve efficiencies, processes, and quality of information in any area of the bank.
Relationships
- Responsible to Deputy Chief Credit Officer and department for fulfillment of functions and responsibilities.
- Advise and assist officers and staff in their respective functions associated with lending.
- Participate in community projects as called upon.
- Maintain confidentiality of Bank and customer information.
