What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Leader position at Golden Corral?
At Golden Corral, Team Leaders are responsible for shift management. This may be just a single department, or the entire operation in the absence of a manager. All the while, ensuring the guest expectation is exceeded. Team Leaders may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager.
Responsibilities include :
- Insuring all guest have a pleasurable dining experience.
- Insures team members are following all safety and sanitation guidelines set forth by Golden Corral.
- Insures team members are following all recipes accurately.
- Managing productivity to control cost while meeting Golden Corral standards.
- Inventory control, by insuring recipes are followed and managing waste.
- Completing production forms.
- Completing sanitation check list.
- Communicating management goals to team members.
- Delegating duty roster responsibilities. Following up to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
- Insure that work stations are clean and organized at all times.
- Insures that all cash control procedures are followed by cashiers at all times.
- Executes proper security and cash handling procedures are met at all times.
- Follows and executes all Golden Corral policies.
- Monitors dining room and all other departments, including restrooms and parking area for cleanliness or other unexpected issues.
- Addresses guest concerns that may arise.
- Consults with management regarding any complex issues that may arise.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with all team members, management and guest.
- Performs any and all task above during the shift.
