Job Summary
As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory levels, and upholding food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the food and beverage department to include restaurant and Banquet events
- Supervise and train staff members in areas such as customer service, and cleanliness
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Write and manage weekly schedules
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in team management within the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Proficiency in bartending.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in casual dining establishments is a plus
- Ability to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
