Summary:

Manage, direct, and administer the operation of the department providing leadership, direction, counseling, motivation, discipline, hiring, budgeting, payroll control, training, forecasting, evaluations, records, report creation and generation, and perform inspections to ensure the department operates efficiently and goals, objectives and standards are met.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Assist in the hiring, training, evaluation, development, and disciplining of departmental employees.
  • Act as a liaison, as necessary, between line staff and departmental leadership to ensure leadership is aware of any challenges with job performance, staffing levels, and/or job tasks.
  • Address any guest concerns by providing guest service recovery.
  • Oversee the execution of the division’s operational plans in the assigned areas.
  • Monitor and control labor costs by ensuring adequate coverage based on business demands.
  • Ensure work performance standards, and employee development programs, maximize the individual growth and development of staff.
  • Ensure the upkeep and training on all equipment.
  • Coordinate with other departments to manage business levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in role with similar responsibilities or with relevant transferrable skills in a similar environment is preferred.
  • Detailed record keeping in English is required.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisor capacity is required.
  • Prior experience with cleaning equipment and OSHA regulations.
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service.
  • Must have computer knowledge.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • At least 21 Years of Age
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
    • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
    • Verify right to work in the United States

    Physical Requirements

    • Frequently push/pull up to 250 lbs.
    • Frequently lift and/or carry up to 20lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
    • Frequently Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist.
    • Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer.
    • Regularly stand, walk, or stoop.
    • Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone.
    • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
    • Ability to distinguish between shades of color.
    • Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
    • Ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, etc.
    • Walk, stand, crouch, or run on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
    • Occasionally drives a motor vehicle.
    • Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
