Summary:
Responsible for assisting customers in the bowling center with purchasing games, rental shoes, assigning lanes and providing guidance and support to customers. Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Assign and track open lanes, maintain a reservation list, prepare for leagues and obtain relevant information needed to provide a seamless guest experience
- Rent shoes and help customers locate house bowling balls
- Ring sales and manage individual bank, collect proper cash and/ or credit card transactions
- Maintain daily records as required
- Notify mechanics promptly of any stoppages or failures that might occur
- Maintain cleanliness of bowling center free of trash, drinks, wipe down settee and tabletops after use of lanes, ball dusters, and return bowling balls to their proper area
- Correct pinsetter malfunctions immediately while bowling is in progress
- Assist the mechanic supervisor with preventative maintenance for the pinsetters
- Follow regular maintenance and cleaning schedule
- Wipe down all pins and repair minor damages including but not limited to replacement of bad pins
- Maintain bowler’s area clean before league begins and at the end of each shift
- Assist lane maintenance person when needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- One year prior work experience in a bowling center or with relevant transferrable skills in similar environment preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a very high-paced, busy environment
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service
- Able to accurately perform basic math skills
- Ability to access and input information using a point-of-sale systems
- At least 21 years of Age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States

- Frequently push/pull, lift and/or carry up to 60lbs. at floor, knee, waist and chest levels
- Occasionally maneuver large loads weighing up to 150lbs
