Description :
Summary : Laundry attendant will report directly to Housekeeping management. Responsible for washing, drying, and folding of items that are brought to the laundry room. Must coordinate with the areas for pick-up and delivery. Attendant will ensure the proper usage of the machines and immediately report any issues or concerns to management.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for loading washing machines with soiled items and pre-spotting heavily soiled areas as needed
- Responsible for proper drying, folding, storing of items
- Responsible for transferring washed items into dryers and ensuring dryers are working properly
- Responsible for continuously checking and changing chemicals as required
- Must ensure that all pads and blankets are washed as they are brought to laundry room
- Responsible for keeping the work area clean and orderly; floors to be mopped daily and lint traps to be emptied and clean daily
- Responsible for issuing all clean pillows, blankets, spreads and pads to house persons / runners
- Responsible for reporting any necessary repairs to Management.
- Must provide courteous and friendly service to all staff and customers.
- Must be able to understand and conform to all Company / Department Policies and Procedures and Rules and Regulations
- Must present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well-groomed manner at all times
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
