Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with all gaming regulations, internal policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the floor maintenance and repairs, as well as the break-down, relocation and re-set-up of machines and stands to be relocated.
- Brings dispute and unusual guest activities to the attention of the shift manager.
- Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service.
- Cooperates and communicates with fellow team members in all departments and always exhibits mutual respect and consistently projects a positive, helpful image/attitude.
- Ensures that all Nevada Gaming Control regulations are followed and enforced.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
- Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests
Job Specifications – Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Electronics Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 2-5 years slot technical experience preferred.
- Experience in troubleshooting and overall maintenance of CDS data communication systems is preferred.
- Equivalent experience in related systems will be considered.
- Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of gaming equipment repair and can perform these necessary functions in a timely manner and with minimal/no supervision.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a one-on-one format, as well as group situation.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to operate computer equipment.
- Must possess excellent people skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.
- Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.
- Required to walk, stand or stoop for 80% of shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 200 lbs.
- Use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
- Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
- Need to distinguish between shades of color.
