Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role involves monitoring compliance with various regulations, including Health Care Policy (HCPF) and Finance regulations and Public Utilities Standards (PUC), while also managing risks associated with fleet management, logistics, and transportation. The Compliance Officer will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our operations and ensuring that we meet all necessary compliance obligations.
Duties
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance management programs that align with industry standards.
- Monitor changes in regulations related to fleet management, Healthcare Policy and Finance and Public Utilities Commission.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required by admin on a weekly bases.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to compliance policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related issues.
- Identify potential risks within operations and develop strategies for risk management.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and report writing for internal reviews.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business administration, law, or logistics preferred.
- Proven experience in compliance management or a similar role within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of HCPF regulations, PUC standards, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting processes and requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in identifying compliance issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Certification in compliance or risk management is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
