Position Title: Adjunct Faculty, School of Accounting
Department Name: School of Accounting
Position Reports To: Associate Dean of Braden School of Taxation and School of Accounting
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
Salary Range: $1,833.33 per unit
Benefits: Limited University's benefits
Days & Hours: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Academic calendar: 3 terms, each 16 weeks; in person courses run late afternoon and evenings.
BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF JOB:
Conduct university instruction for Accounting students by performing the duties outlined below.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Instruct students in one or more of the following areas:
- Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting
- Cost Management and Advanced Managerial Accounting
- Auditing
- Accounting Information Systems Research
- Professional Communication
Qualifications
A Master's degree or higher, plus 5 years of professional experience in the subject matter.
