Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provides exceptional customer service internally and externally, addressing questions, resolving issues and serves as the dedicated contact for GHFB Community Partners, businesses, government entities, schools, and civic groups
- Conducts site monitoring visits to agencies to ensure proper food storage and handling.
- Ensures compliance with all local and federal government regulations and guidelines from Feeding America and GHFB.
- Promotes good stewardship of products and maintains appropriate record-keeping practices.
- Takes a proactive and compassionate approach to accountability when partner agencies are not compliant with GHFB standards.
- Receives, investigates, and responds to agency complaints, recommending follow-up actions while providing excellent customer service internally and externally.
- Conducts on-site visits and attends partner agency food distributions to ensure compliance with Feeding America and GHFB policies and procedures.
- The coordinator also provides one-on-one support and coaching to these agencies to help them improve and enhance their food assistance programs.
- Acts as the primary liaison between the GHFB and partner agencies, ensuring effective communication with GHFB and other community organizations.
- Coordinators assist agencies in connecting with local resources, network partners, and community services to help them achieve their goals. Additionally
- Facilitates and participates in community meetings, collaborations, and forums within the network.
- Guides partner agencies through the training process for both new and existing partners to ensure they are fully engaged and effective as network members.
- Provides ongoing education and technical support to partner agencies while facilitating their onboarding.
- Collaboratively coordinates and implements annual events, including Partner Agency Onboarding, Recertification, Retail Training, and other essential events.
- Provides targeted support to agencies and assists with capacity assessment and development.
- Maintains a methodology for supporting partner agencies in their service delivery, capacity building, and scope of work for grant, retail rescue, and distribution efforts.
- Provides support to the designated partner agency network by maintaining accurate files, spreadsheets, and records for each agency.
- Works to ensure that all member files are current and comply with auditing standards
Supervisory Responsibilities
- May be responsible for the recruitment and training of community volunteers

The Partner Agency Coordinator must be able to meet deadlines and be results oriented, working in a fast-paced environment. Must be sensitive to diverse populations and have a strong moral compass with ability to exercise good judgment and discretion. The ideal candidate will have stellar relationship-building and coordination skills, understand demographics, and be motivated to enhance food insecurity.

Education and/or Experience
- Associate degree in the field of Public Administration, Human Services or related
- Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have high school or GED, some college preferred
- Nonprofit experience preferred, 2 years
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must obtain ServSafe certification prior to completion of probationary period
