What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Wanted for Couple in Sneads Ferry Home position at Golden Heart Caregivers?
We are in need of 2 wonderful caregivers to help a couple in their beautiful Sneads Ferry home. Mom is losing her eyesight and has arthritis slowing down her mobility. Dad is losing his mobility and needs help transfering and emptying his urine bag. So we'll be helping them cook and basic help with their ADL's.
The hours are 11am - 5pm
Pay is $17 hour weekdays, $18 hour weekends
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions to our RN.
- Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Assist with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed care plans.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding client information.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including transferring them safely from one location to another.
Requirements
- Previous experience in skilled nursing facility.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is a plus.
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of patient observation in caregiving settings.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential for this role.
