Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations for group homes and community activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing teams, improving processes, and achieving business objectives. Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of employees to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Manage multiple services simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and accountability.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members.
- Basic HR duties to include hiring, managing and terminations.
- Employee onboarding management and continued compliance documentation oversight.
- Create and maintain a weekly Employee schedule.
- Documentation review to ensure legal compliance within the State of Alaska.
- Attention to detail.
Requirements
- Drivers License
- Vehicle Insurance
- Must have your own vehicle
- Must pass a background check
- Negative TB test
- First Aid Certification
- CPR Certification
- Associates Degree in Human Services (preferred)
Experience
- Proven experience in an operations management role or similar capacity.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Exceptional employee management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Our ideal candidate should have experience managing teams of no less than 15 people.
- At least two years of experience providing personal care to vulnerable populations.
