Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is searching for Full-Time and Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurses for all shifts, including 12 hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) for Days and Nights, along with our Double Weekend program where you work two double shifts on a weekend and get paid for a 5th shift! The License Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible to provide direct resident care under supervision of a RN, while adhering to each individual resident’s plan of care and to ensure provision of care for all residents during shift. They report all cases of alleged violations involving mistreatment, neglect, or abuse, including injuries of unknown sources. - Admissions,
Discharge and Transfers of residents
- Medication
requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
- Medication
administration
- Following
infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
- Collaborating
with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
- Identifying
and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper
personnel per center policy
- Works
under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse
Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment.
- Delivers
nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative
care.
- Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent
information related to the care of the patient/resident.
- According
to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of
care and evaluates the patient/resident response.
- In
accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care
given by other nursing personnel in selected situations.
- Maintains
knowledge of necessary documentation requirements.
- Maintains
knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors,
infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
- Maintains
confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all
patient/resident/ personnel information.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) QUALIFICATIONS:
- LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State
- CPR Certification required
- Two Years prior nursing experience preferred
