Vice Principal

The Golden Hills School Division invites applications for a Vice Principal at Crowther Memorial Junior High School in Strathmore, AB, effective the start of the 2025/2026 school year. Strathmore is situated on the Trans Canada Highway and is only a 25-minute commute from Calgary.

Crowther Memorial Junior High School is a Grades 7 - 9 school with approximately 500 students. They believe in inspiring innovative thinkers, doers, and connectors. Teachers that are interested in collaboration, teamwork and culture building are encouraged to apply.

Preference will be given to applicants with the following qualifications:

• Evidence of leading for learning and strong teaching skills
• Positive interpersonal relations with staff, parents, and community members
• Evidence of ability to work effectively within a collaborative decision-making environment and to promote a positive culture
• Masters Degree in Educational Leadership (or equivalent) or evidence of progress towards a Masters Degree
• Supportive of direction from principal and desire to advance to this role
