Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation along with light housekeeping duties.
- Assist clients with mobility needs, as required.
- Maintain cleanliness in the client's living area, ensuring a hygienic and organized environment.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' health or behavior and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote emotional well-being.
- Follow established care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or personal support roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting clients with mobility challenges.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live independently while receiving necessary support.
