Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation and eating.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to foster a positive environment.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers.
- Monitor and document client health and behavior changes, reporting any concerns to the supervisor or provider agency.
- Ensuring a safe environment for clients.
- Support clients in engaging in social activities and community outings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the client's living space.
- Follow care plans tailored to individual needs.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or hospice care is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
