PT Cocktail Server

Golden Hour Wine Bar and Social Club is seeking experienced, passionate, and personable team members to join our team. We are building an intimate, sophisticated atmosphere dedicated to the connectivity of wine, friendship, and music, offering sensory discovery through a full, seasonal, and extensive selection of wine by the glass and bottle, along with small plates to pair with wine selections.

Job Summary: Cocktail and Wine Server is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, accurately taking all food and beverage orders, and making sure they are delivered in a timely manner to the guest’s satisfaction. You will be educating yourself and guess on all wine on the menu, and we are looking for team members who are excited and enthusiastic to be learning about wine on an ongoing basis. You will also be crafting cocktails and mocktails, so experience in a bar setting is crucial.

We are seeking enthusiastic, personable servers that possess the fun and welcoming spirit Golden Hour prides itself on. Our ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of wine and an eagerness to learn. But most of all, servers will enjoy making each guest experience positive and memorable.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Full understanding about cocktail, wine, and menu items
• Ability to make and serve cocktails, wine, and food
• Provide guests with accurate and thorough information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergen information Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business
• Take and enter orders into POS system promptly and accurately
• Ensure all the food and drinks are served immediately and according to specifications
• *Check ID’s according to law specifications*
• Ensure that all the necessary stock is being replenished during the shift
• Move furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipment
• Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude prior to escalating to management
• Make sure guest area is consistently clean, organized and restocked

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3 plus years experience in a restaurant, bar, or retail setting
• Personality is everything - we are looking for outgoing and enthusiastic team members
• Experience in proper serving standards
• Continuous use of hand and arms while standing for long periods of time

Compensation:

$16.00/hour plus tips
