Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant to our Property Management team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the property management operations, ensuring that our tenants receive exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This position requires a proactive individual who may be skilled in property management services or willing to learn quickly and grow with this new company.
Duties
- Assist the Property Management department daily operations, including tenant relations and lease agreements.
- Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information, including lease agreements and payment histories through effective data entry.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs and upkeep of the property.
- Uphold Fair Housing regulations in all interactions with tenants and prospective residents.
- Manage office tasks such as filing, phone etiquette, and administrative support for real estate functions.
Experience
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledgeable in computer technology.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in data entry and office software applications, especially in Google docs and sheets.
- Familiarity with property maintenance processes and best practices.
- A commitment to adhering to Fair Housing regulations and ethical standards within the real estate industry.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
