About the position: The Operations Manager will oversee and optimize our warehouse operations. They will ensure efficient receiving, handling, storage, and distribution of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Tasks of the Operations Manager:
Operational Management
Strategically manage warehouse operations in compliance with company policies and vision Oversee receiving, warehousing, inventory control, assembly and distribution processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy Develop and implement workflows, space utilization plans, and operational procedures to maximize productivity Create daily and weekly operational plans to maximize through put and productivity Team Leadership Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance management Recruit, train, and mentor employees to meet both short-term performance goals and long-term development objectives Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory levels by implementing effective stock control measures Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and optimizing operations Conduct cycle counts to minimize inventory variances Assembly Lead the assembly process to ensure the team completes the daily orders on time to meet shipping timelines Review the process on a regular basis to identify improvements and implement them Develop and monitor an efficient workflow process to maximize productivity Safety & Compliance

- 5 years of professional experience in warehouse or logistics
- 3 years of management experience
- Previous experience must include dealing with physical products

Essential Tasks of the Operations Manager:
Operational Management
- Enforce health, safety, hygiene, and security protocols in line with legal regulations
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for staff to promote a secure environment
- Logistics Coordination
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations
- Collaborate with suppliers, transport companies, and other stakeholders streamline logistics operations
- Performance Monitoring
- Analyze productivity metrics (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Prepare detailed reports on warehouse performance for senior management review
Qualifications & Skills (Required)
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role (5 years)
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems (e.g., WMS), and logistics processes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
- Natural curiosity to improve operational processes
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software tools
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
- Certifications in warehouse safety protocols or forklift operation are a plus
- Familiarity with supply chain management software or ERP systems. Netsuite and Shiphawk knowledge a bonus.
