About the Role:
A warm and welcoming family in Fredericksburg is looking for a morning nanny to care for their energetic toddler and, eventually, their newborn arriving in the spring. Mom is very flexible with the schedule and will provide all necessary training to ensure the nanny feels comfortable.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging, active play and care for the toddler
- Assist with light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, sweeping up after meals, etc.)
- Prepare simple meals for the toddler
- Occasionally supervise the toddler and a visiting cousin during playdates (with increased pay)
Ideal Candidate:
- Trustworthy, kind, and engaged
- Looking for a long-term position
- Comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home parent
- No driving required during work hours
- Newborn care not needed until several months after birth
