Full-Time Nanny Needed in Lubbock, TX
Start Date: April 7, 2025
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $20 – $25 per hour Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Paid Personal Days
About the Family
A warm and welcoming family in Lubbock, TX, is seeking a nurturing, interactive, and reliable nanny to care for their energetic and social 2-year-old daughter. Mom works from home, and the family has two friendly dogs, a black Labrador and a French Bulldog, who are great with children and new people.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and engaging care for a 2-year-old
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that encourage development and creativity
- Support early learning, including speech, socialization, and motor skills
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks
- Maintain a consistent nap schedule (typically 12:30 PM – 2:00/2:30 PM)
- Assist with potty training support as needed
- Light housekeeping related to the child, including tidying play areas and managing laundry
- Occasionally provide evening care for date nights (not required but appreciated)
Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for a nanny who is:
- Experienced in working with toddlers and supporting their developmental milestones
- Highly engaging, interactive, and creative in daily activities
- Organized and proactive in maintaining routines and household tasks
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Comfortable working in a home where a parent works remotely
- Comfortable with pets in the home
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a nanny or in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of toddler development and early childhood education
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to commit to a long-term position
