Nanny Job Opportunity – Morristown, NJ

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays & Paid Personal Days
• Schedule:
• Monday through Friday: 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM
• Family Vehicle Provided During Work Hours

About the Family:
A warm and welcoming family in Morristown, NJ, is seeking a nurturing, organized, and engaging nanny to care for their two children. They are looking for someone who will become a valued part of their household, providing a safe and stimulating environment while also assisting with light household tasks related to the children.

Responsibilities:

• Engage children in age-appropriate, enriching activities to encourage learning and development.
• Support early learning concepts such as reading and writing skills.
• Provide school pickup and transportation to activities (family vehicle provided).
• Assist with children’s meal preparation.
• Manage children’s laundry and keep play areas tidy and organized.
• Occasionally provide flexibility to start early or stay late when needed.

About the Children:

• 7-year-old (boy): Outgoing, social, and academically motivated. Loves school and enjoys engaging with both peers and adults. Favorite foods include chicken nuggets, pasta, and spaghetti. No known allergies or health concerns.
• 4-year-old (boy): Initially shy but becomes sweet and playful once comfortable. Attends preschool and enjoys learning new skills. Loves pickles, chicken nuggets, veggies, and fruits. No known allergies or health concerns.

Additional Details:

• A parent works from home during the week.
• The schedule remains the same throughout the summer.
• Occasional overnight care may be requested but would be infrequent.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience as a nanny or childcare provider.
• Strong understanding of child development and early education.
• Ability to create a structured, fun, and engaging daily routine.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Safe driving record and comfort with school pickup/drop-off.
• A warm, compassionate, and reliable demeanor.
