EVS Cleaner
The EVS Cleaner is responsible for ensuring that all public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness. This position is also responsible for the Cleanliness of the Casino.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
- Performs all high cleaning requirements to include but not limited to glass, mirrors, lighting, vents, canopies, banners, and ledges both interior and exterior.
- Performs all interior floorcare.
- Operates all equipment to include but not limited to lifts, scaffolding, ladders, floorcare equipment and polishers according to established safety regulations.
- Performs all recycling duties as assigned.
- Responsible for arrangement, removal and transport of all office and public area furniture and accessories as assigned.
- Responsible for organization, storage and handling of departmental supplies in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
- Responsible for compliance to all OSHA and departmental regulations and procedures.
- Responsible for training of like employees as assigned.
- Maintains positive guest and employee relations.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
- If in the process of performing duties access to RESTRICTED areas is needed, appropriate security escort will be provided.
- Prior industry cleaning experience required
- Knowledge of glass, carpet, floor, and industrial cleaning equipment required
- Must be able to obtain a valid Casino Employee Registration license upon hire
- Required to work at heights in excess of 6 feet.
- Professional appearance and demeanor

- Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment operation preferred
