- $100 after 30 days
- $200 after 60 days
- $200 after 90 days
- Protects the assets of the casino, as directed, and responds promptly to requests for security assistance. Performs duties in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
- Provides exceptional guest service.
- Follows established security protocols to ensure that casino work environments are safe. Receives technical direction and guidance from Security Lead.
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all customers and employees.
- Investigates incidents by asking questions, takes and analyzes statements, secures and reports evidence, as directed and, makes and accurate record of all investigations.
- Escorts the transfers of money/assets throughout the casino on a frequent basis during a shift and, when required, assists by lifting or carrying money/assets to designated locations. Monitors transfers and reports and concerns to supervisor.
- Patrols property, as directed, including Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, Gold King Mountain Inn, Gas N’ Roll, customer vehicles, shuttles and to ensure for the safety and security of guests and staff and for compliance to casino security policies and procedures.
- Reports violations of casino security policies and procedures, as directed.
- Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and prior to taking action, exercises caution and evaluates circumstances for appropriate security or safety response. Seeks supervision and guidance from the Security Lead or Security Supervisor, as needed or directed.
- Responds to and controls emergency situations immediately and acts to minimize risk to casino customers and employees.
- Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
- Is independent verifier for jackpots and fills.
- Maintains technical knowledge of surveillance systems through training on component designs and repairs.
- Make recommendations to surveillance coordinator on additional coverage that might be needed in specific areas.
- Communicates with staff through two-way radio communications, and ensures for prompt responses for security or emergency assistance.
- Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
- Performs incident investigations by reviewing and analyzing videotapes, and reports findings to management staff as directed.
- Maintains an accurate and chronological activity log, as directed.
- Performs a comprehensive “close watch” of any casino activity, guest or staff member, when necessary, requested or required.
