We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Golden Nugget Hotels & Casinos.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen. This includes washing, sanitizing, and stocking dishes, utensils, and cookware.
About the Role:
- Key Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing and Sanitizing: Efficiently wash and sanitize all kitchen items, including dishes, glassware, flatware, and cookware.
- Maintaining Equipment: Monitor and maintain the sanitizing standards of all dishwashing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Cleaning Supplies: Stock and use cleaning supplies as intended to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Trash Management: Empty and clean trash cans regularly and ensure proper placement.
- Organization: Assist with organizing and stocking clean dishes, utensils, and cookware to maintain a well-organized kitchen.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Qualifications:
- Basics of Sanitation: Possess basic knowledge of sanitation practices.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
