Overview : Slot Technician

It is the responsibility of the Slot Technician to Provide fast, friendly service while performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot machines.

Responsibilities :

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees
• Ensure all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards
• Maintain confidentiality of all Golden Nugget information including business processes, customer lists and any other confidential information
• Perform preventive maintenance, modifications and relocation of slot machines and peripheral devices
• Rebuild parts / equipment during down time, and maintains the parts inventory as assigned
• Circulate through assigned area performing repairs as necessary
• Ensure that all slot / storage areas are clean and organized
• Responsible for the set-up and testing new slot product
• Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment to perform functions of the position
• Complete all regulatory / operational documents thoroughly and legibly
• Able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and / or unusual hours
