The Laundry Attendant is responsible for performing all activities associated with the retrieval of soiled linen, processing of linen and distribution of clean linen. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for performing all activities associated with the retrieval of soiled linen, processing of linen and distribution of clean linen. Responsibilities
- Effectively operate washing machines and dryers.
- Load and unload laundry according to standards.
- Remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts.
- Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc. as directed.
- Sort all hotel linen according to item, color, size, etc.
- Store & Stock linens properly according to standards.
- Pre-treat stained linen before washing.
- Clean and maintain dryer filter and other equipment as trained.
- Sweep and mop laundry floors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.

- Able to work independently.
- Carry heavy loads of linen around the hotel to the laundry department.
- Understand the usage of the equipment to include washing machines and dryers.
- Work in an environment where it is wet and humid.
- Must be able to speak English.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum age requirement is 21.
