Responsibilities
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
- Responsible for the hiring, selection, training, motivation, evaluation, disciplinary action, and termination of all transportation employees.
- Responsible for the courteous and expedient handling of guest complaints.
- Plans, organizes and develops major special event arrivals/departures, VIP arrivals and group arrivals/departures.
- Must have ability to conceptualize and develop an annual budget.
- Communicates and resolves guest complaints to area of responsibility.
- Promotes positive, professional, friendly and courteous service to all guests.
- Establishes and assures compliance with policies, procedures and standards as related to the operation of the department.
- Personally covers the peak valet parking business periods, Friday and Saturday nights, special events days and nights, and major convention check-ins and checks-outs, to ensure proper traffic flow.
- Monitors valet parking revenue.
- Maintains accurate operating procedures and valet parking ticket issuing.
- Oversees the accuracy of bar code system, 100% adherence to pre-parking surveys, enforcement of safe driving habits and loss control management.
- Prepares and implements pro-active scheduling based on volume of anticipated business and controlled vacation requests.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
- Two (2) to three (3) years prior experience in parking operations in a supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge of valet and front door services necessary.
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license a must.
