The candidate has detailed knowledge of contract management and customer relationship management. This position is expected to have strong business acumen and an ability to quickly understand and evaluate information in a dynamic environment. A candidate must be a quick learner of contract language and key provisions in LNG Sales & Purchase Agreements. Although not essential, familiarity with LNG trading, marine shipping, and commercial optimization is a plus. Engineering, military or some other detail-oriented experience is also preferred. Above all, detail oriented with a strong business aptitude is required.

- Developing and maintaining an integrated shipping schedule for LNG deliveries and receipts
- Serving as a member of the Value Analytics Team to integrate Commercial LNG in the analysis process
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations under LNG agreements.
- Updating scheduling and transaction details in IT business systems.
- Preparing detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Coordinate and oversee the commercial operations of the LNG supply chain, including vessel scheduling, cargo nominations, and terminal operations. This is achieved acting as the key Commercial LNG interface to a cross-functional analytics team.
- Highlight issues to manage daily LNG scheduling.
- Analytical support in development of Annual DeliveryPlan.
- Analyze issues related to changes to the Annual Delivery Plan as requested by Buyers or as necessitated by Operations and make recommendations on feasibility and alternate options. Assist in the resolution and documentation of these commercial and operational issues in coordination with relevant internal and external parties. Analyze scenarios and make recommendations.
- Verify and document analysis and contract calculations for management and/or Buyers
- Usage & Throughput Contractual Calculation
- Gas-Up/Cool-Down request evaluations
- Incremental Costs Analysis
- Demurrage/Extended Berth Time Analysis
- Dispute Analysis
- Prepare reporting for Commercial LNG daily meetings:
- Contract Calendar: Upcoming Dates
- ADP Change Requests, recommendations to changes, resolution
- Buyer issues
- Assist in preparation of Management Reporting for Commercial LNG, Executive Leadership, Board and Buyers:
- LNG KPI & Performance Management
- LNG Team Metrics
- Monthly to Executive Leadership
- Quarterly to Board
- LNG reporting – As needed to Buyer
- General ad hoc analysis for Commercial LNG team
- Serve as a backup point of contact for communications with LNG customers and other stakeholders regarding cargo scheduling, shipping, and other contractual issues.
- Assist in Heavy Hydrocarbons & Marine management including forecast of volumes and analysis of relevant settlements.
Minimum education required of the position.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field
- An MBA or and engineering degree is a plus
- A minimum of 5 years relevant analytical experience in transaction management, cargo scheduling, or contract and customer relationship management
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Capable of assessing complex behaviors and differing needs of customers; ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to anticipate and address logistical challenges.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal)
- Ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task when necessary.
