Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in day-to-day operations and management of the retail store
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries or concerns
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate discounts, sales tax, and change for customers
- Assist with payroll processing and maintaining employee records
- Manage and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support

Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage tasks, schedules, and priorities
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience for customers
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and ability to operate a cash register
- Professional phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues
- Knowledge of retail math to accurately calculate prices, discounts, and change
- Experience with payroll systems is preferred but not required
- Ability to effectively manage a team, delegate tasks, and provide leadership
