Golden Queen Mining Company LLC seeks a highly skilled Heap Leach Operations Specialist to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Merrill-Crowe Recovery Plant and heap leach pad. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of all equipment and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on processing equipment, including pumps, piping, clarifiers, and filter presses.
- Monitor solution flows from the heap leach pad to the pump box and Merrill-Crowe Plant, making adjustments as needed to optimize gold and silver recoveries.
- Assist in the development of methods and procedures to improve heap leach facility operations.
- Participate in process department safety meetings and contribute to a culture of zero incidents.
Requirements:
- Experience in heap leach and Merrill-Crowe operations, with a strong background in metallurgical and environmental procedures.
- Proven track record of effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to work a varied schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.
