Golden Rain Foundation (GRF) at Leisure World, Seal Beach (LWSB) is currently recruiting a part-time Recreation Attendant in our gym who is committed to health and fitness and the love of recreation. .

We are a premier community with national recognition for active adults 55 and over. Your Work Schedule, Compensation &Benefits:
- Part-time, non-exempt (hourly).
- Hours: 5-7 hours per day, 2-4x per week to include early morning and evening flex shifts, holidays and weekends.
- This position is 100% on-site.
- Hourly Pay Range is $16.07 per hour up to $21.92 per hour.
- The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.
- Benefits eligibility after your first 30 days of employment include: 401(k).
In this position, your primary responsibilities include:
- Verifying GRF membership
- Supervising the conduct of members and reporting any accidents/incidents.
- Observing the condition of the gym and reports any problem areas.
- Other duties as assigned based on department needs.
As a qualified candidate, you will have:
- CPR/AED and first aid training/certification within the first few months of employment.
- Ability to build a positive rapport with clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach often.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
