Retail Budtender

Golden Rookie Dispensary is seeking a knowledgeable, friendly, and customer-focused Budtender to join our team! Located in the heart of Grand Junction, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and high-quality cannabis products in a welcoming environment.

Position Overview
As a Budtender, you will serve as the face of Golden Rookie, assisting customers in selecting products that meet their needs while ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations. This role requires a passion for cannabis, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with product selection based on their preferences, needs, and experience.
• Educate customers about Golden Rookie's product offerings, including flower, edibles, concentrates, and topicals.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of cannabis strains, products, effects, and consumption methods.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with Colorado state regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.
• Restock inventory, ensure proper product display, and communicate low stock levels to management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Colorado MED badge required.
• Previous retail or customer service experience (strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products and their effects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, professional, and a team player with a positive attitude.

Additional Opportunity For A Candidate With Marketing Experience:

If you have both Budtending and Marketing experience we could utilize you for a hybrid position as a Vendor Relations Specialist. This would be part time budtender/part time vendor and event relations that would come with an aggressive bonus structure. Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
