City Pahrump State NV Shift All Type of Shift Full Time Department Hotel Ops (excluding Housekeeping & EVS) Front Desk Clerk Pahrump Nugget, Gold Town & Lakeside (Pahrump, NV) Description : Summary : Provide excellent service to all hotel guests. Assign guest rooms, check guests in and out of the hotel and manage a cash drawer.Essential Functions and Responsibilities : Assign guest rooms in accordance with current policies and procedures Register guests and ensure all necessary details are obtained Accurately manage cash flow in assigned bank Maintain knowledge of hotel occupancy status, special events, in-house groups and other situations affecting the front desk's daily operations Process guest accounts upon check-out in an efficient and accurate manner Provide excellent guest service and handle all special requests and complaints until guest is completely satisfied Assist other departments with their requirements that may be pertinent to hotel guests Maintain the guest's mail as needed Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members Perform other duties as assigned Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulationsRequirements : Qualifications Previous cash handling and hotel customer service experience preferred Prior experience working in a team or group environment Ability to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner at all times Able to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal Able to accurately perform basic math skills Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma or equivalent preferred Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company Verify right to work in the United StatesWork Cards NonePhysical Requirements Frequently lift and / or carry up to 15 lbs. at floor, knee, and waist levels Frequently walk bend, reach, twist, squat, and kneel Constant standing and use of vision and hearingWork Environment Potential Conditions Indoor Smoky and noisyDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
