What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Job Coach - Floating position position at Golden Rule Industries?
-️This position is responsible for overseeing a small group of adults with developmental disabilities throughout their work day; supervise, redirect, teach and build relationships while you create a meaningful day for our Working Partners.
-This position will float to job sites in Muskogee as needed.
-This position is responsible for ensuring that assigned government properties are cleaned and maintained to the standards of the Department of Justice per contract signed with Golden Rule Industries.
Location: Muskogee
Level of Authority/Supervision:
This position reports directly to the Janitorial Services Administrator; coaches and oversees up to 3 adults with disabilities.
Essential Job Functions:
-Helps Working Partners learn appropriate work skills, attitudes and behaviors.
-Effectively oversees all janitorial projects on site according to safety, quality, and performance standards.
-Monitors the work of others to ensure quality.
-Oversees Working Partners at meal time and assists with heating of meals as needed.
-Anticipates and manages customer concerns, responds promptly to requests, establishes and maintains good customer relationships.
-Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner including identifying any maintenance issues and involving the Janitorial Services Administrator as needed.
-Responsible for ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of operation, including safety and security measures for GRI, OKDHS, and service locations.
-Uses time and resources efficiently and effectively.
-Responsible for regular on-time attendance to ensure responsibilities are fulfilled
-May fulfill or complete the job responsibilities of other team members or Working Partners as needed to cover a period of absence to ensure tasks are completed.
-May be responsible for completing other job-related duties to ensure the effective operation of GRI.
Education/Experience Requirements:
-Requires a minimum of a high school diploma, GED equivalent, or an equivalent in combination of education and experience. Vocational training or job-related certificates a plus.
-Must complete required GRI training within the designed time frame; GRI provides all required training.
Additional Competencies, Skills, and Qualifications:
-Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Physical Requirements:
-Requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Will frequently require reaching and stretching of the arms. Near and far visual acuity, color distinction.
-Will occasionally require the ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or squat. Requires the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; Physical requirements may be met with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work Environment:
Work is performed primarily indoors in a climate-controlled, well-lit environment. Mild to moderate noise level during periods of equipment use. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to general cleaning supplies, including solvents and aerosols.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
