Job Summary
- Assisting customers and taking care of their needs in relation to retail sales ranging from filleting/cleaning fish/cracking shellfish, answering questions on items, and preparing / packaging items for consumption.
General Accountabilities
- Promote a positive work environment
- Attend to customer’s needs with the utmost professionalism and respect
- Present product in an appealing manner to customers
- Prepare items for consumer purchase
- Cleaning, filleting, processing and or preparing seafood for consumers
- Lifting and moving boxes which may exceed 50 pounds
- Receiving, signing off and putting product away
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Uphold full integrity towards customers and co-workers
Job Qualifications
- Education: High school attendee or equivalent
- Experience: Not required
- Ability to operate cutlery and machinery
- General knowledge of seafood and commercial fisheries
