Who We Are:

Golden Sound (a Sushi | Bar Hospitality concept) is an upscale but approchable bar and lounge featuring classic and progress craft cocktails in vibrant environment. It is located in the adjoining space within Sushi Bar Nashville's newest intimate omakase speakeasy.

What We Are Seeking:

• An experienced BARTENDER who is knowledgeable in classic cocktails, spirits, and wine.
• Welcoming, warm, friendly, hospitable, gracious, and professional.
• A responsible individual who will provide the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner with a sense of urgency.
• Amazing attention to detail, work well as part of a team, and work well under pressure
• A motivated hospitality professional who is organized, friendly, and passionate.
• An integral part of our service team who sets the stage for a memorable evening.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Graciously welcoming guests to the bar and lounge prepared to provide the highest level of service and hospitality
• Complete and detailed knowledge of all menu offerings
• Effectively communicating both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
• Procuring the beverage order and expediting service and table maintenance throughout the entire guest experience according to the guidelines set forth by the management
• Ensuring all guests that drink alcoholic beverages are of the legal age and do not become intoxicated
• Perform as part of a team by assisting coworkers in any possible way to help ensure a great guest experience
• Dependable and detail-oriented
• A passion for excellence and delighting in the magic of curating special experiences and memories for our guests
• Exudes confidence while performing duties
• Dependable and flexible schedule (able to work week days/nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Ability to work under pressure

Qualifications:

Experience as a Bartender

Computer literacy

Excellent communication skills

Able to recommend beverage offerings

Display wine and beverage knowledge

Dependable and detail-oriented

High school graduate or equivalent education preferred

Must be eligible to work in the United States

TABC Certified

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 40lbs

Must be able to stand for long periods of time
