Audio Visual (AV) Programmer Position Summary
As GST's AV Control System Programmer, you will be responsible for planning, developing, testing and implementing control system code, audio files, and other equipment-related configurations. This individual would also perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations. The Control System Programmer will be able to successfully handle multiple tasks / projects, think independently and effectively interact with employees and client.
Job RequirementsRead and interpret AV systems drawingsGather programming requirementsProvide control system design and review audio visual designProduce new modules and interfacesCreate technical standards, processes and proceduresProvide programming and technical direction to project team when neededControl System programming design to meet requirements and system capabilitiesUser Interface programming to meet requirements and system capabilitiesInstall control programs and touch panel design onsite, offsite, and remotely in physical systemsPerform commissioning and acceptance testing of codeTest integrated systems and perform troubleshooting as neededAssist manufactures and customers with problem resolution as neededTravel to various job sites, as requiredProficient with test and calibration equipmentProficient in programming languagesProficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systemsProficient in control system design (Crestron / AMX / Extron)Understanding of DSP programmingEffective communication and interaction with employees, clients and colleaguesQualifications
Previous experience with control systems, video-conferencing, switching hardware, audio DSP setup and calibrationBachelor's Degree in Computer Programming or equivalent experienceMinimum of three years of Crestron or AMX control system programming experienceHarman Certified Control Professional (C-P) requiredExtron GC-Pro Certified requiredCrestron and AMX certifications requiredCTS or CTS-D certification is preferredCompensation & Benefits :
