What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pilot position at Golden State Air Charter LLC?
Golden State Air Charter is looking for a full time Pilot in Command for our fleet of King Air 200's and/or Citation CJ/CJ2. This is a non-commutable position with mostly day trips. Roughly 70% of trips are charter and 30% trips flown for the owner(s). This position offers excellent work/life balance. We are looking for candidates who will contribute to our culture of safety and excellent customer service.
Scope
Review the maintenance status of the aircraft to ensure airworthiness
Conducting proper pre-flight inspections
Checking weather and facilities along the route to be flown
Ensuring the flight is conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of Golden State Air Charter and Federal Aviation Regulations
Ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew
Accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with procedures
Requirements
Candidates must live within 1.5 hour commute from Bakersfield, CA
Total Time: 2500 Hours
Total PIC: 1000
Total in Type: 100
Cross Country: 500
Night: 100
Total Instrument: 75 (50 in flight)
Eligible for unrestricted travel to/from Mexico and Canada
